According to my sources (actually its just my mum's german friends haha- but i like to act mysterious *lmao*) the whole of Germany is quiet with nervous anticipation of the Germany vs Argentina showdown tonight.
The mood in germany has been noticably good so far, with the germans in rather good spirits, buT i pity the non-locals should Deutschland lose undeservedly -and i emphasize undeservedly because the Germans should win!- to the Argentineans..
Imagine the state of mourning Germany would be in. And should any Argentinean fan be idiotisch (idiotic) enough to run around sporting the Argentinean jersey just to gloat, they won't live to see the next sunrise ha.
Thus, to prevent bloodshed and war, and to keep Germany a happy host, ich (I) conclude that it is in the best interest of everyone for Germany to emerge victorious this night..
Haha alright alwite while it is glaringly obvious that Deutschland has my sedulous support, biased though it may be, you have to admit that Germany has performed admirably this World Cup (esp when compared to the last WC) and if they win this WC no one can say it's pure luck!
*smug look*
Oh moving along, last night my sis asked me to explain that great mystery of the off-side rule. Its supposedly this huge enigma which the fairer sex is perpetually unable to comprehend. I just don't get why, its really really simple!
So anyways i obliged using 3 of my mum's old lipstick tubes. The silver Clinique tube was the last defender, whilst the black Lancôme and Elizabeth Arden tubes represented Ballack and Klose (hehee i luV my simple ANALogy!;P). She got it quite fast- told u it was simple!
Oh and since the ready-to-wear collections for Fall/Winter 06/07 are out, i shall include at the end of every post the
utterly delectable confections of the day:
starting with one of my favourite designers, Nicolas Ghesquière (it sure doesn't hurt that he has a sexy first name-i'm soo terribly biased!! hahaha;) for Balenciaga. One day i shall just feature Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière collections cuz they really are so uniquely beautiful..
